This project was a study in using language as a mode of interactivity. Here, the word “change” is used as both a noun and a verb; it exists as a bridge to the other 22 featured languages through a click. The focus of the piece is the central “change,” which establishes the universality of the message that anchors this “change” in space: “change takes time”. 

The text revolves in a circle and is repeated in such a way that it truly exists as a cyclical entity, asserting that change and time are implicitly intertwined — that one is not the cause of the other, but that they exist together in continual process. This circle will continue to cycle forever, but human interaction is necessary to create any change to the page — just as human intervention is necessary to create change in the world around us.
